The shape of a lawn, whether square, rectangular or irregular, will have a great influence on the amount of time it takes to keep it neat as well as the style of garden you are trying to create. Obviously the larger a lawn the more time it will take to mow. This can, however, be offset somewhat by choosing a mower with a cutting width to match the size of your lawn. For a larger lawn, more than 300 square yards, look for a mower with a cutting width of at least 14 inches. If you have a small lawn, less than 60 square yards, a mower with a cutting width of ten inches would be sufficient.

A mower with a twelve inches wide cut would be the best option for lawns in between these two extremes. Wider mowers are usually more expensive, so consider whether the extra cost is worth it. The extra maneuverability of a smaller mower might be better in a small garden, with fewer straight runs. You can reduce the time and effort involved when mowing by keeping the shape of your lawn simple. Simple shapes often look more appealing than complicated fussy ones in any case.

If your existing design has obstacles, such as island beds and specimen trees, you could reduce the amount of stopping and starting as well as the length of edge to be trimmed by joining the beds together or extending borders from the sides to incorporate them. If you have more than one lawn in your garden, consider joining them into one. Small lawns in the front garden often take more time to look after than the main one at the back. You may be better off getting rid of the small lawn altogether and replacing it with an area of gravel.

Surface drainage can be impeded if the grass has become compacted because of excessive wear. You can overcome this by a technique know as aeration. Small areas are best treated with a garden fork. Simply spike it into the grass, pushing the times into the ground to a depth of about six inches, spacing the holes about two inches apart. For larger areas of lawn consider hiring a powered spikier or slitter instead. Fill the holes with sharp sand or a mixture of soil and sand for poorly drained soils, or use peat or very fine, well rotted compost if the ground is sandy. Autumn is the best time to aerate your lawn.

3D scanning or laser scanning is like as the 2D scanning, like 2D, 3D scanner got image of a object them twist it as a 3D photo. This is simple but the photos will not be 2D it will 3D photos by 3D scanner. Most of the outstanding video games for computer are largely use 3D scanning system, the environment and objects of the games built in 3D scanner and converted as 3D objects though when you play the game you will think you are on the game and you will feel every situation of the game. That is the specialty of 3D games.

Nowadays, the use of 3D scanner is not limited only in games, this is using for a large purposes. Most of the modern movies are now using special effects of 3D scanning. The main uses of 3D scanning are surface modeling, reverse engineering and also in industrial designs. There many companies who produce 3D scanners but all of them have different technology and for this reason prices vary. If you want to make any object to digital format you have to be very keen to use the photogrammetry.

When people used the 2D surface modeling, it could not be possible calculating its depth and any other dimensions correctly, this is the reason for coming up 3D surface modeling and now people can see pictures and able to correct the dimensions. The pictures become smaller than the real object but get a perfect realistic shape than 2D modeling. Even small elements and dimensions can be observed by you if you want so. This is the main feature of 3D scanning or laser scanning.

Reverse engineering is one of the best features of 3D scanning and the process to work with 3D scanning is known as reverse engineering. By reverse engineering you can easily redesign the old machines and know how it was worked before. Then it will be easy to rebuild the machines with the design by an expert. Laser scanning is used for frame the design and then reveals the working system in the 3D virtual world. Most of the leading companies now use this technology but every time the result will not be correct and for this you have to understand the whole process before start.

The main product by using 3D scanning is 3D animated movies or cartoons and they are popular too. Making 3D animations with this is not so hard, but for that first you have to determine purposes of your animation. Every thing you can do with the 3D virtual world and even you can’t believe that can be happening. 3D scanning, reverse engineering and surface modeling have changed the usual definitions of digital photograph and maps. You can get the 100% perfect and effective with many features maps with the use of those, and if the progress going on you can’t imagine the result of those after a few years.

http://www.Applications3d.com offers laser scanning, photogrammetry, reverse engineering, and surface modeling etc.

By their nature some commercial refrigerators are just not that good for the size of your electricity bill but making a few sensible changes can lead to a 30% energy saving.

If you are looking to purchase new refrigeration consider what climate class your chiller or freezer is as this is an indication of how it will perform in differing ambient conditions. Also look at cabinet insulation thickness and whether a single, double or triple glazed display door.

For equipment already owned there are a number of practical steps that will help.

Location, location, location – for items such as sealed cabinets placing in direct sunlight or in the hottest part of a busy kitchen will mean the compressor having to work harder and use more energy.

Open fronted items such as display freezers if multidecks will be affected by this too but will also suffer from being placed in a drafty location.

Don’t cram – most modern cabinet chillers and freezers require air circulation within the cabinet so overstocking can block this and affect the internal airflow causing the compressor to work too hard and may affect food temperatures and lead to waste.

Give me some air – as with internal air flow the chiller also need ventilation space to the sides and rear. If spacers are provided use them. Refrigerators need to radiate heat away from the condenser to operate correctly and be energy efficient.

Shut that door! – maybe obvious but the simplest and most often overlooked. Fit a nightblind to a multideck, a plastic curtain to cold rooms and other than when loading never prop open.

Service please – considering the inconvenience of a machine failure, which always happens at 7pm on a Friday, there are also the obvious health risks associated with incorrect food storage temperatures. A regular service by a competent engineer won’t stop this but certainly reduces the chances of it happening.

Many customers will ignore this because their machine is still under warranty – your car may have a long warranty but receives a yearly service and an MOT as well so why not your expensive catering equipment?

If you are an avid drinker or you love to set up parties, it is time to get yourself a beer cooler. Moreover, when you do have one, please do keep note these following tips:

Find one that fits the beer. There are different sizes of beer coolers you can get in the market, so your choice will depend on how many packs of beer you are willing to put inside. If you are thinking of dozens and dozens of them, make sure to buy the large-sized chiller.

Go for the sturdy one. There is a good chance that you will be bringing the beer cooler with you when you go on trips, such as camping. Along the way, there will be a number of curves and bumps, which can disturb the cooler and its contents.

If you are not traveling, then most definitely, you are putting your cooler someplace else. There is also the possibility that you are going to put a number of things on top of it, particularly if you do not have much space. Therefore, it is a wise investment to buy a very sturdy cooler.

Do not dare to put food inside. You are thinking, “Hey, I can definitely save on space and even money if I just combine food with the beer.” Well, it is actually wrong thinking. Food should never be combined with beer. Even if you are going to put a lot of ice to keep both of them cold, your food will immediately spoil because you are going to keep the door of the cooler open frequently. Coldness will just escape from the container, allowing the moisture to build inside.

Bring some ice. If you are going on a long trip, do not forget to pack some ice. Your cooler can only do so much. It will not be able to function well if there is no ice inside it. You can pack as many blocks of ice as you like. As long as you do not open your cooler several times during the journey, your ice can surely last until you reach your destination.

Get some warranty. Some manufacturers can offer you warranty for the beer cooler. As a wise consumer, it should be something you take advantage of. This way, you can receive a refund or an exchange item if it turns out defective. You may also look forward to a discount for repairs.

Another beer beverage cooler tip is icy cold beer. You will not have to worry about hot beer with the right cooler. Buy one that has a temperature regulator to keep your beer as cold as you want. Beer chillers come in many different sizes and types. Check out a custom beer cooler to show off your passion for your favorite sports team!

If you are a college student living away from home, or an independent individual in a small apartment, most likely your space is limited. A normal to large sized refrigerator is just out of the question. Your solution may be a dorm size refrigerator.

Before shopping for compact refrigerators, you might want to measure the available room space. Sanyo is a recommended brand with various sizes on hand. The smallest one currently being offered is 1.7 cubic feet – available in the sleek SRA1780 series, priced at around $120 – $180 (depending on the store). The width-height-depth dimensions are 17.75″-19.38″-18.63″. These models have a freezer compartment, drinks compartment for 2 liter bottles, a wire coated interior shelf and reversible door. Available colors are black and white. If you want more space, there is also an available 2.4 cubic feet size – SRA2480M. This is a widely popular model. At $140-$190, it has two shelves, a vertical can dispenser, and a half width freezer compartment with ice cube trays. An even larger sized model is the SR-560 that comes with a built in additional vegetable bin. Priced at around $300, it is perfect if you share a place with roommates.

Another brand with good ratings in the dorm size refrigerator department is Avanti. One of the 1.7 cubic feet models is the BCA1802SS1 1.7 All Refrigerator, made with stainless steel. It has an auto defrost feature, flush back design, and the door rack can store 2 liter bottles which is really convenient for large sodas. The price is reasonable at $127 to $170. If you want more space with less width, the RM3250W Counterhigh refrigerator is available, featuring 3.1 cubic feet of space at only 17 inches wide and 32 inches tall. It has a can dispenser which can store up to seven 12 oz. cans, slide out shelves and a separate chiller compartment which is great for fresh produce. It is usually has a price range of $150 to $250. The RM4550 is another larger sized option. It features three shelves and it has 4.5 cubic feet for storage and is priced between $180 – $216. It has a standard white exterior, manual defrost system, adjustable shelves and a can dispenser. It also has a flush back design and recessed door handles to save even more space. This is important when every inch counts.

In choosing a dorm size refrigerator, it is important to buy those with at least one year warranties – as smaller refrigerators are not as durable as larger ones. Make sure to check out the refrigerator’s storage shelves too – they should be efficiently arranged to give you the most space possible. And as with all refrigerators, make sure that the thermostat works, check for energy efficiency, and make sure that it doesn’t hum too loudly!

These are just a few options in dorm size refrigerators.

Next, discover all the different types of refrigerators at www.refrigeratorreport.com and find the one that will save you money.

Ice Thermal Energy Storage (TES) has the advantage of universal availability, low cost and transport ability through other system components. However, a conventional ice TES system for air conditioning application requires low temperature chillers and therefore standard water chillers must be replaced with low temperature glycol chillers which operate with a lower evaporation temperature and consume more power.

If we can offer designers an ice which freezes and melts above or below 0°C (32 °F) these new products will open new horizons for environmentally friendly and economical systems for both New and Retrofit type process cooling / heating load shifting applications.

Phase Change Material (PCM) Eutectic solutions are mixtures of two or more chemicals which, when mixed in a particular ratio, have a freezing / melting point below or above water freezing temperature of 0 °C (32 °F) and they offer a thermal energy storage facility between -114 °C (-173 °F) and +164 °C (327 °F).

Eutectics are well-known and in fact early applications date back to the late 18th century however the separation and the life expectancy of these mixtures were unpredictable and therefore their wide spread usage was limited.

The disadvantages of a conventional HVAC chiller and ice (water ice) storage system can be overcome by utilising the latent heat capacity of various “Eutectic” mixtures without the need for minus circulation temperatures.

Phase Change Material (PCM) thermal energy storage not only enables the designer to utilise existing chiller technology but also enables charging by means of free cooling, i.e. without running the chillers

Although the term “Eutectic” is widely used to describe the materials we are interested in, a better description would be “Phase Change Materials” (”PCMs”). Unfortunately, very few of the documented PCM solutions are true Eutectics and so many have to be modified to obtain a material suitable for long term use.

PCMs can be broadly grouped into two categories; “Organic Compounds” and “Salt-based Products”. The fundamental requirement for a modified Eutectic (PCM) Solution can be classified in three categories, namely stable solution (no separation or degrading), minimum supercooling / heating and finally close freezing and melting temperatures.

There are three fundamental additives commonly used to modify hydrated salt based Eutectic PCM solutions. These three components are firstly Nucleating Agent which encourages Crystal formation and therefore minimizes super cooling and the secondly additive is Freeze Depressant to achieve a lower phase change temperature and thirdly Gelling / Thickening Agent in order to overcome separation and degrading problems.

Once the above components have been carefully applied, a satisfactory Eutectic PCM Solution can be produced from the physical and thermodynamic point of views and commercially available solutions offer a range of -114 °C (-173 °F) and +164 °C (327 °F).

However, majority of suitable PCM solutions for HVAC and refrigeration systems are corrosive to commonly used pipe and line components and therefore suitable encapsulation techniques must be applied to overcome this problem while providing the best thermal performance. Various encapsulation techniques such as tube, flat container or alternatively ball concepts have been developed whereby the PCM solutions are encapsulated in plastic and / or metal shell.

The heat transfer between the surrounding media, which flows around or inside the unit and the surrounding PCM solutions, takes place from the outer or inner or the combination of both surfaces of the encapsulated PCM unit. These techniques are generally eliminates the contamination risk and offers an efficient, cost effective, practical and flexible new type of TES designs.

Modern society’s reliance on refrigeration and air conditioning indicates that refrigeration and the associated environmental issues will be with us for a considerable time and therefore one has to utilize existing and available alternative technologies with minimum usage of energy.

A Positive Temperature Eutectic Phase Change Material (PCM) Thermal Energy Storage (TES) not only provides the end user with an Environmentally Friendly design but also the following additional benefits can be obtained:

o Reduced Equipment Size

o Capital Cost Saving

o Energy Cost Saving

o Environmentally Friendly Installation

o Improved System Operation

o Flexibility for the Future Capacities

The temperature ranges offered by the proposed PCM solutions utilize conventional chilled water temperature ranges for both the charging and discharging sides of the system. Hence, they can be applied to any new or retrofit application with minimal technical and economical impacts.

Furthermore, the possibility of Free Cooling Cycle, Absorption Chillers, Co-Generation, Solar, Hot Water and Heat Recovery TES system combinations offer new horizons for designers to control the energy balance to match the load and electricity demand / consumption of the system as a whole.

The task for designers is to explore all available technologies towards achieving improved efficiency regardless of which refrigerant is used, and apply where and when possible diversification technologies in order to minimize the overall CO2 emission related to energy usage. A carefully balanced Eutectic, Phase Change Material (PCM) Thermal Energy Storage (TES) may be the answer for some of the cooling applications for an Environmentally Friendly and Economical alternative.

Saltwater aquariums are intended to be used to keep marine fish, and tend to be more challenging to maintain than freshwater aquariums. This is due to saltwater aquariums supporting a more complex ecosystem, which need more patience and expertise to master. Usually the saltwater aquariums are constructed of glass or acrylic and include biological, chemical and mechanical filters.

Some saltwater aquariums need separate provisions for lighting, hood and stand. In some tanks, heaters too can also be used. Many of the most popular saltwater aquariums will have a capacity ranging from 30 gallons up to 60 gallons. Industrial places that house marine aquariums are generally life sized that are able to provide a close to natural environment.

However, it is wise to keep in mind that the smaller tanks tend to require more maintenance and care. Changes in the water quality can occur more rapidly and can get dirtier faster, thus requiring more cleaning and water changes.

One of the key factors in the maintaining of a saltwater aquarium is the necessity to ensure the proper environmental conditions. This consists of providing the right kind of flora and fauna to maintain the delicate saltwater ecosystem. Other points to monitor include the PH level, alkalinity and the oxygen levels. It is also necessary to maintain the specific gravity between 1.020 and 1.024 and saline levels between 28-32 PPT, both can be tested with a hydrometer.

It is advisable to add living rock into your saltwater aquarium. The live rock is obtain from the ocean is usually inhabited by detrivores and herbivores. Detrivores feed on any biological waste thus maintaining the necessary ecological balance. Other than that you will also find the growth of crab, feather dusters, brittle stars, snail, and sea stars. Bristle worms also act as scavengers and are totally harmless.

Saltwater aquariums are able to accept almost any species of tropical fish. With the development in new filters it is gradually becoming easier to maintain salt water aquariums. The most commonly used filters tend to be hang-on filters and refugium. Hang-on filters are able to assist in the chemical and mechanical filtration whereas refugium helps in biological filtration.

Saltwater aquariums are not for the absolute beginners. It is advisable to have some sort of experience before setting one up. Initially it will be time consuming to get started, but the effort will be well worth it once the tank is fully set-up.

Most people will have come into contact with a mini fridge whilst staying at a hotel and have noted that although they are good for storing drinks you don’t get much else in there, not that you need to at many of these establishments. But the point is in some situations these fridges are the ideal refrigeration solution.

On the face of it these refrigerators would seem ideal for families who already have a fridge but don’t necessarily have enough space for a single bigger fridge or perhaps they have a fridge but need an overflow fridge without wanting to invest in a traditional size second fridge. Mini refrigerators can provide enough space for bottles and extras without taking up valuable space or costing considerable sums for a fridge that may rest half empty most of the time.

Its on closer inspection that you realise that although these fridges may be great for the family, their real niche is for people who maybe have a temporary lifestyle that need to be able to move the fridge easily when they move and who still need the convenience of a chiller. The typical buyer for these refrigerators are often students and workers who move sites regularly such as construction workers.

For students these fridges are ideal for small boarding rooms and dorms where maybe only odds and ends need to be stored such as drinks, milk or fruit. In addition they can be taken along easily when life changes, be it a move to new boarding digs or finishing college and moving cities. Some of these mini fridges are developed with students in mind as can be seen by the panoply of models that are whisper quiet running, whilst carrying energy star markers to show efficiency and small running cost. Others have a more permanent feel having freezer compartments and traditional compressor motors that are more suited to a permanent location.

What ever you need a mini refrigerator for you are bound to be able to find an ideal solution as you can now get a range of mini refrigerators varying in size from 1.7 Cu ft through to 3.8 Cu ft with or without freezers for prices ranging from $80 through to hundreds of dollars.

Filtration Systems Can Reduce Maintenance and Downtime.

To strike an interesting analogy, your cooling tower and heat exchanger is what the lungs and heart are to the human body; when either aren’t working properly, it effects other parts of the body and your health suffers. Similarly, when your cooling tower and heat exchanger isn’t clean, the heat exchange process doesn’t work efficiently and the health of your production and process cooling system suffers.

Process cooling systems that rely on cooling towers to dissipate heat from process cooling water accomplish this by drawing massive volumes of air into the cooling tower as the water travels through the fill material on its way back to the basin. Through the natural evaporative process, heat is dissipated from the water before it reaches the water basin from which it is re-circulated through the chiller then through the heat exchanger and back again (kind of like when you sweat while working and letting the air evaporate the perspiration to cool you down). It is important to realize that cooling towers are gigantic air scrubbers that capture all airborne debris that happen to be floating nearby, and if your system doesn’t have effective filtration, the debris can clog the fill and get circulated and trapped in the heat exchanger where it can build-up, restrict water flow and cause your process equipment to malfunction due to overheating.

An example of this is illustrated by a major automotive assembly facility that had faced periodic downtime due to their robotic welding systems not holding tolerances and causing quality problems. After the robotic technicians spent several days trying to initially solve the problem, one of the maintenance workers opened the heat exchanger and discovered that it was impacted with cottonwood seed, insects and other debris – flow had been reduced and the robotic equipment was running hot. Now you might be asking yourself, whey didn’t they have some sort of filtration equipment? The answer is simple; at the time the facility was built, the ambient conditions in that area didn’t require a filtration system. However, as the years went by and the area became more developed and cottonwood tree populations grew, the need eventually surfaced.

The interesting thing to note about this situation is that even though cleaning the heat exchanger got the robotic welding system back on-line and running at peak performance, it didn’t solve the problem. In fact, cleaning heat exchangers is like taking a cold capsule to relieve the symptoms of a cold. Unless you treat the root cause of the problem, the cooling system will suffer time and again. The root cause in this case and in most heat exchanger fouling situations is the cooling tower – stop the debris from getting into the cooling tower and it will protect the entire process cooling system including fill, cooling water, chiller and heat exchanger. With the proper filtration technology, your process cooling system will stay clean and running efficiently all season long.

Selecting The Right Filtration System

It is important to realize that optimizing the ecology and operational efficiency of your evaporative cooling system is best accomplished by combining a chemical treatment regimen with some type of filtration. The reason is that chemical treatment specifically targets suspended solids and particulates of 40 microns and below, while filtration systems are designed to stop larger debris, especially the kind that causes system clogging and fouling.

For cooling tower filtration, there are two general technologies: Water Based Systems for which there are a few different variations and Air Intake Filtration Systems. With water-based systems, the choices include basic water strainers that remove debris by simply passing water through a mesh strainer; sand filtration systems that remove debris by passing the water through sand and centrifugal separators that spin the water and remove the debris through centrifugal action. In contrast, Air Intake Filter Systems remove the debris by filtering the air as it is being drawn into the cooling tower, keeping the debris out of the system in the first place. When considering your filtration options, the following questions should be asked.

What is the cost associated with downtime due to heat exchanger or cooling tower fouling or clogging? (Knowing this will help you justify your filtration system cost)

What type of debris is most problematic (can you see it or is it microscopic)?

Specifically what part of the system does the filter protect?

Which system provides the greatest filtration surface area (this can directly impact frequency of cleaning – the smaller the filter the more frequently it needs cleaning)

Can the system be installed without shutting down the cooling tower? (If the cooling tower must be shut down for installation, you need to factor lost productivity into the cost of your filtration system if it’s not being installed during shutdown periods.)

What is the cost associated with both the filter and installation?

How easy is the system to install and maintain?

Answering the above questions will help you to fully understand your options and to make the best choice for your operation.

In the case of the automotive manufacturer, the solution they selected was the Air Intake Filter system. The reason was that they needed a system that would protect their entire process cooling system including fill material, cooling water, chiller and heat exchanger. When they evaluated water-based systems, they discovered that the options provided varying degrees of protection for the chiller and heat exchanger but didn’t protect the cooling tower where the root of their problem was. If they had selected a water-based system, their cooling tower would have still drawn airborne debris into both the fill and water where the water filter would have captured the debris before it circulated throughout the system. From a maintenance standpoint, that would have solved the heat exchanger problem but it would have done little to reduce maintenance on the cooling tower. Further, when they compared the cost of water based filtration versus air intake filtration technologies, Air Intake Filtration was found to be the more cost effective approach for their operation.

If you are not currently using a filtration system as part of your process cooling system, then any filtration technology will give you more protection than you have now, however, selecting a solution best suited to your operation requires that you know what kind of debris is the problem and where it is getting into the system. As a rule of thumb, ” don’t select a small debris solution to solve a large debris problem”. Conversely, “don’t select a large debris solution to solve a small debris problem”. There is clearly a place for both water based filtration and air intake filtration – be sure you’re selecting the right filtration for your specific need.

If you are looking to protect only your chiller and heat exchanger from airborne debris, then one of the water-based filtration technologies in combination with a good water treatment program can help you manage the debris that gets into the cooling water. If on the other hand, you’re looking for full process cooling system protection, then you should look at Air Intake Filtration – It will stop the debris from getting into your system in the first place.

Air Solution Company developed and patented the first Air Intake Filter specifically engineered to mount to the outside of cooling towers and other HVAC equipment for purposes of stopping the debris before it entered into the system. Since that time, Air Solution Company has been manufacturing and has introduced a variety of other innovative filter systems including its new Fine Mesh Filter which is engineered for use on small and medium size refrigeration coils and machine fan intake housing units.

Buying compact refrigerators can be quite tricky, especially for newbies. Why? This is because the top manufacturers of general refrigerators are not often the best buys for these specialized kinds. As refrigerator sizes become smaller, it is a challenge to retain the freezing/chilling power of a full-sized one and still provide ample storage space. One of the best brands in the compact refrigerator market is Avanti. Although relatively unknown in the full-sized ones’ arena, Avanti compact refrigerators stand out because they can function almost as well as full-sized ones despite their smaller sizes.

The smallest models being offered are called compact cubes – ideal for dormitories, game rooms, and small offices. Avanti models are well-known in the 1.7 cubic feet size, although 2.4 cubic feet ones are also available. A basic, but highly recommended model is the 1.7 cubic feet Superconductor Refrigerator (SHP 1700W). Avanti compact refrigerators use R134A refrigerants, but they don’t have compressors, making operation really quiet – almost no annoying loud humming sounds. Its thermostat is adjustable from 36ºF – 56ºF, and it has interior LED lighting for brighter yet less power-consuming lights. It also has a reversible door, slide out shelf, and an auto-defrost system for convenience – and for all these features, it’s reasonably priced at around $150. Priced slightly higher (around $160), one can also get the SHP1702SS model, featuring similar features – but made of more durable stainless steel. All said models weigh a light 27 pounds.

Avanti compact refrigerators also come in counterhigh models if you want more space at less the width. The RA316BT, priced at around $300, offers 3.1 cubic feet of storage, with one cubic foot dedicated to a true 0-degree freezer compartment. It also comes with a dairy bin, bottle bin, a can dispenser that can store up to 6 cans, 8 temperature modes for more precise thermal control, and an auto-defrost system. If you don’t really need a freezer, or a chiller will do for you, the Avanti RM3250W is also a great buy at a cheaper price of $250. If you want even more space, there is also a 4.5 cubic feet Avanti compact refrigerator available – the RM4589SS2, at a slightly wider dimension (20.25″) than the previous models. It comes in a sleek black exterior with a reversible stainless steel door. Its defrost system, though, is manual and it has no freezer compartment – reasonable though, for a relatively cheap price of $260.

There are also special models which can be used outdoors. These models are often designed in such a way that they can be free-standing (to stand alone) or built-in/undercounter (can be incorporated in cabinets and counters). This is possible because of the front-vent and flush back designs which make installation against walls easier. Avanti compact refrigerators of this type are thus more expensive because of these added value features. A suggested outdoor refrigerator model is the OBC32SS, which comes in a full stainless steel finish and has 3.2 cubic feet storage capacity. It also has casters to make it portable and includes a six foot power cord to make it suitable for outdoor use. The cheapest price currently offered is around $820. A similarly-designed outdoor refrigerator is the OBC33SSD. Its main difference from the OBC32SS is its lovely double pane glass door. It costs just slightly higher, with the lowest offer at $850.

If you still find the mentioned storage capacities of Avanti compact refrigerators lacking for your needs, you can also check out their selection of midsized or apartment-size refrigerators. However, if you insist on getting a more popular brand, some other choices to consider for compact refrigerators are General Electric, Haier, Amana, and Sanyo.

These are just a few of the options in Avanti compact refrigerators.
